ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Charles J. Stewart was born on April 10, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri and it was there that he received his formal education. Charles spent his post-secondary years at Tuskegee Institute (Tuskegee, Alabama) where he earned a bachelors degree in Commercial Dietetics. With his degree in hand Charles headed for New York and the Lord had begun to open doors unimaginable. Charles was appointed Head Dietitian for the Department of Correction for the state of New York and later he was the Director of Dietary Services in Hospitals and Nursing homes.
Bro. Stewart has had the honor and privilege to serve as a leader and wear many hats during his life and career. He has served as President of the Hospital Food Administrator's Association of Greater New York and he was the co-founder of Elijah Lodge No. 160 and Elijah Chapter No. 129 of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Free Masonry. His illness forced him and his family to relocate to the sunshine state of Florida where he later became Chairman of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Committee.
Bro. Stewart made a promise to God; if God would continue to give him life, health, and strength Charles would write this book so that others would know the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Bro. Stewart is truly a walking miracle. He has been stricken with many medical ailments but his mind has always stayed focused on the Lord. On his Christian journey he has always continued to walk by faith and not by sight.
Bro. Stewart resides in Port St. Lucie, Florida with his wife and sole mate Saundra, Renell (daughter) and Shawn (son). His oldest son Kevin and his daughter-in-law Claire reside in New York. Charles is the proud grandfather of three Jerrell and the twins Giovanna and Bianca.
The hope is that all who read this book will find it truly inspirational and will know that "All sickness is not unto death."
